Having grown up with all the trappings of white privilege,
I felt called to do my life’s work in the field of
Diversity Equity Inclusion & Belonging
to enable me and others
to BE all we are capable of BEing.
So instead of rising through the ranks of industry or politics,
I chose to dedicate my professional life
to coaching other straight white men
to enjoy our mutual bridging across differences
and benefit from fully SEEing and being SEEN by one another.
Diversity Consciousness is not about compliance or tolerance.
It is about deeply and authentically valuing
each and every person as a critical part of the whole..

Just as cell differentiation makes organic life possible,
and different mechanical parts make a machine operational,
so do different people and perspectives
make teams and organizations more effective
and more dynamic than they can ever be without such diversity.

co-created the nation’s first
National Diversity Conference,
and have been a national key-note speaker on
Maximizing Personal, Interpersonal and Organizational Potential
by Valuing our Human Diversity.
Over 6,000 corporations, academic institutions and government agencies
have utilized my work to increase the effectiveness
of individuals, teams, and organizations.
