About Griggs Productions

Griggs Productions is the pioneer that launched valuing and managing diversity as the most important organizational development issue of the 1980's & 90's. Recognized widely by national print and broadcast media, the Valuing Diversity® video series is in use by over 5,000 corporations, educational institutions, government agencies and nonprofit organizations. In retrospect, it is now clear that Valuing Diversity® was ahead of its time and helped trigger the landslide awareness of the need to recognize and value (rather than ignore) our rich diversity as the resource that it is.

During 1996-97 Griggs Productions entered the multimedia learning market. Our multimedia endeavors, including the 3-part award-winning CD-ROM series No Potential Lost® have again reinforced that we are leaders in the training tool development field. We have received awards for all three discs in the International CINDY competition (beating out the Harvard Business School entry). The product review in the Training Media Review newsletter stated that " No Potential Lost® belongs in the same category of excellence as Tarragon and Harvard Business School...Griggs has done itself proud with this CD. It illuminates crucial organization issues, offers the content of several videos, holds user interest with a variety of content and technology, and has an easy to use interface."

During 1995-96 Griggs Productions produced the award-winning six-part Human Energy At Work® video series. In 1993, Griggs Productions broadened the human resource development market by releasing the award-winning three-part Valuing Relationship® video series. In 1987 Griggs Productions extended their reputation in the international cultural awareness market to include the domestic diversity challenge. Griggs was the pioneer in recognizing discomfort with diversity as a key factor in the under-utilization of human resources in the American workplace and marketplace. In response to the reality of changing demographics, racism, sexism and other "-isms" in an ever changing environment, Griggs Productions and fifty corporate sponsors took the creative leap and produced the award-winning seven-part Valuing Diversity® video series.

In 1983 Griggs Productions was launched with the development of the seven-part award-winning Going International® video series. The film/video series pioneered the awareness of the impact of cultural differences on international business. The reality of globalization has renewed itself in today's workplace and marketplace, and in addition to the Global Contrasts video released in 1996 Griggs intends to produce more products for the global market.
